Recognize What Nourishes You – Strengthen Your Ojas
In Ayurveda, Ojas represents vitality, resilience, inner stability, and our capacity to maintain health and well-being.
In this three-day retreat, we explore Ojas through the classical teachings of Ayurveda and through direct experience with all five senses. We learn to recognize what nourishes our vital energy – and what may gradually deplete it.
Through lectures, practical exercises, sensory experiences, nutrition, relaxation, meditation, and conscious self-observation, we discover how food, sleep, stress, relationships, nature, and sensory impressions influence our well-being.
The aim is not only to understand Ojas, but to experience it and bring this awareness into everyday life – with simple, practical ways to nourish and preserve our vital energy and support prevention.
About the Training
Experience Ojas – through Ayurveda and all five senses
In OJAS 2, we deepen our understanding of Ojas, the essence of vitality, stability, and inner strength, through direct experience, conscious self-observation, and the wisdom of Ayurveda.
Our five senses are our constant connection with the world around us. What we see, hear, smell, taste, and touch can nourish and strengthen us, but it can also overwhelm and deplete us. Ayurveda teaches us to become more aware of these influences and to recognize what supports our individual balance.
Through lectures, practical sessions, sensory experiences, meditation, nutrition, and personal reflection, we explore how Ojas is created, nourished, and preserved in everyday life.
You will learn to recognize your own sources of Ojas as well as your personal Ojas drainers, and discover simple ways to support vitality, resilience, and well-being.
Signs of Strong Ojas
People with strong Ojas often radiate a natural sense of vitality, calmness, warmth, and inner stability.
Physical signs:
Radiant complexion, clear eyes, strength and stamina, healthy digestion, restful sleep, and good resistance to illness.
Mental and emotional signs:
Mental clarity, emotional balance, inner calm, joy, contentment, and a natural positive presence.
OJAS 2 invites you not only to learn about Ojas, but to experience it – and to take this awareness into your daily life.
Our Teacher
The theoretical and practical sessions are guided by Dr. Sushrut S. Sardeshmukh, Ph.D.
Dr. Sushrut S. Sardeshmukh is an Ayurveda physician and Associate Professor at Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Trust (BSDT) Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Vishwashanti Dham, Wagholi, Pune. Coming from a long lineage of Ayurvedic practitioners, he combines profound knowledge of classical Ayurveda with a contemporary perspective on health, prevention, and well-being.
OJAS 2 is an invitation to understand, experience, nourish, and preserve your vital energy – and to discover how conscious care of the senses can become a simple yet powerful part of everyday prevention and well-being.
